Extrusion
VEP maintains a close relationship with our aluminum extruder that allows for shorter than average lead times. This is available for both standard items and custom designed heat sink profiles. Our relationship with our extruder has also allowed us to push the high ratio envelope. The profile to the right and above is one example of a high ratio extrusion. This ratio is nearly 16:1, click here to see a drawing of our new VM 35068 extrusion profile. VEP has run over twelve different production heat sinks using extruded profiles ranging from 12:1 to 16:1 aspect ratio. We can also establish a stocking program in our warehouse for our customers' finished heat sink products. VEP is proud of our ability to bring in large quantities of aluminum in under FIVE WEEKS. We believe this is a great asset to both VEP and our customers. Let our buying power work for you. What extrusion is right for you?Our heat sink extrusion is categorized into five sections. The sections are defined by extrusion "circle size". As a rule of thumb, the larger the circle size the larger the extrusion width/height will be, along with a better thermal rating. You may navigate through some of our more frequently used profiles, but also note that custom profiles can be made to fit your application. Key Benefits
